Shelly has many strengths and is currently serving as Province President for Daughters of the King in Province VIII. As Province President she represents Province VIII on the National Council and also serves on the National Enrichment Program Committee and the Strategic Planning Committee. At the Province level she regularly runs Zoom conferences and Board meetings, is familiar with Constant Contact newsletter creation and website integration, and is proficient in reading and working with Excel spreadsheets and CSV reports.

Shelly has strong social skills and relies on God's help to bring people together and form lasting working and social relationships. In addition to her role as Province President for the Order, she also serves as Vice President and Representative to the National ECW Board for Episcopal Church Women in Province VIII where she also serves on the Bylaws Committee. She is the ECW representative for her Diocese, serves on the Vestry of her church as well as a LEM.

Shelly feels called by God to serve in any way she can.

Carol still remembers the day she took her vows at St. Francis Church in Springboro, OH with the Mother Teresa Chapter. She has always been in communication with our Triune God. When she heard of the Order, she knew she was called, and she found a place to belong.

Carol has been a member of at least six chapters and also a Daughter at Large through many moves with her family before finally settling in Arizona in 2017.

Currently serving as Diocesan President for Arizona and Archivist for Province VIII, she has had amazing opportunities to witness where the Daughters have come since 1885 as she has led 21 chapters for the past two years.

Competent to lead Zoom meetings and experienced in both written communications and email, she stays connected through online media. She is organized, detail-oriented, enjoys doing research and gathering quotes to hold an Assembly Retreat. Her gift of hospitality and experience in helping to plan Arizona assemblies is very valuable.

Christine brings over three decades of teaching experience in Arizona, specializing in digital communications at the high school level. She has served in leadership roles across educational and faith-based organizations, including the Arizona Diocesan Board of The Order of the Daughters of the King, where she currently serves as Treasurer. Her past service includes positions as Member at Large, President, and Past President, as well as secretary for her chapter and board member for scholastic journalism statewide.

An accomplished digital media educator, Brandell is proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva, creating social media and print materials for events and assemblies. Her project management and design expertise shine through in her work producing chapter graphics and publishing twenty-three yearbooks.

Guided by faith and a spirit of collaboration, she values organization, accuracy, and prayerful reflection in all she does. Brandell’s commitment to mentorship and community is rooted in gratitude for her family, colleagues, and ministry education, fostering encouragement and connection wherever she serves.

Melody has been a lifelong Episcopalian and a member of the Daughters of the King since 1990. After a 32-year career with The Boeing Company, she is now retired and continues to serve actively in church leadership.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and has extensive leadership experience within the Daughters of the King, including serving as Chapter President, Diocesan President, Secretary, Treasurer, and currently as Diocesan Vice President. She also serves on the Governor’s Citizens’ Commission on Salaries for Elected Officials.

Known for her strong faith, attention to detail, and collaborative approach, she brings integrity, organization, and a commitment to service in all she does. Her professional background includes managing communications for large teams, coordinating meetings, and producing clear and timely documentation.

She is skilled in virtual communication tools, email, and social media, and is recognized for her responsiveness and ability to keep others informed. In both her professional and church roles, she has extensive experience preparing and distributing meeting minutes, newsletters, and official communications.

She is a widow and the proud mother of two adult children.

A graduate with a degree in accounting, she currently works as the Accounts Payable Manager at Forgen, LLC, where she continues to put her knowledge and dedication to work every day.

She is comfortable with technology and enjoys using digital tools in both her professional and personal life. Whether managing day-to-day responsibilities at work, researching information online, or staying connected through platforms like LinkedIn and Facebook, she approaches technology with confidence and ease. She also handles everyday tasks such as online banking and bill payment, reflecting a practical, hands-on familiarity with the digital world.

Her background reflects a long-standing commitment to sound financial stewardship and dependable leadership. Over the years, she has built a career that spans both nonprofit and corporate environments, serving in roles such as Accounting Manager for KXTV, Assistant Controller for American River Bank, and Accounts Payable Manager at Forgen, LLC. Since moving to Torrance, CA in 2026, Christine has been a Daughter at Large at churches with no chapter. She has always been actively involved serving in many leadership capacities at the Assembly and Provincial levels, most notably in assisting with communications, websites, and in partnership with Kimberly Cortner in presenting the Discerning the Call Online Study developed during Covid and now completing its' sixth year welcoming new Daughters.

Christine looks forward to representing Daughters at Large at the Triennial gathering in Phoenix in 2027.
